About the Position: The incumbent administers a variety of PEO Missile workforce development programs, projects, and courses. The incumbent provides training requirements and funding estimates. The incumbent also assists in the scheduling, development, and execution of PEO Missile courses, designed to meet the workforce's developmental needs.
Duties
Provide advice to Program Executive Office, Missiles and Space (PEO MS) leadership on learning and development policies and programs.
Administer supervisory and interpersonal skills training for civilian and military personnel.
Develop training services designed to enhance the professional knowledge and skills of the workforce.
Review course evaluations to enhance delivery and content of in-house training programs.
Utilize Program Executive Office, Missiles and Space (PEO MS) training systems to schedule courses.
Maintain pertinent training documents to sustain course quality control.
Requirements

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that demonstrates a practical knowledge of the subject area of the position and of the methods and techniques of instruction, which includes (1) assist in designing instructional courses and material in designate area (i.e., Interpersonal skills, Emotional Intelligence, Behavioral Assessments, Mentoring, and Supervisory Development coursework); (2) utilizing established automated system to track training course completion; (3) collaborating with management officials and senior staff to determine training and workforce development requirements; (4) aiding in the review of existing training programs to make recommendations and changes; and (5) ensuring training programs are in accordance with established budget requirements. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (NH 2/GS-11).
