Duties

You will document analysis findings for management review. You will interpret policy statements, procedures, or instructions to determine the effect on current or planned operations and missions. You will develop documentation or reports to summarize results of manpower assessments or studies. You will establish procedures to assess the effectiveness of recruitment initiatives.

Requirements

  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Provides briefings on current and proposed budget requirements organization and a wide variety of individuals; 2) Collects information to complete recruiting-related documents, publications, and/or initiatives; 3) Prepares research on recruiting-related issues to draft proposals for decision-making officials; and 4) Analyzes data to identify trends, deficiencies and accomplishments related to recruiting and retention issues. Education


The following education may be substituted for specialized experience:

Successfully completed a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree

OR

Successfully completed three full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent degree.

OR

Successfully completed an LL.M. degree that is related to the position being filled.

OR

A combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience. The percentage of the required education plus my percentage of the required experience equal one hundred percent.
