About the Position: The position is located in the U.S. Army Recruiting Command (USAREC), Brigade (BDE), Operations Division (S-3), Operations Branch. Its primary purpose is to record and compile statistical data from systems such as Mission, Production, and Awards (MPA), Brio Portal, and REQUEST for in depth audit and historical and comparative analysis in the BDE. Data is used as a basis for making mission assignments to subordinate Battalions (BNs) and Army Medical Department (AMEDD).
Duties
Conducts studies of statistical data to derive a basis for forecasting and scheduling quantitative and qualitative potential of enlistments in the Army nationwide.
Monitors, retrieves, compiles, edits, creates, and maintains daily, monthly, quarterly, and yearly production of statistical data of a historical, current, and projected nature.
Prepares system queries to extract special reports and crosscheck data from various sources.
Reviews and analyzes a wide variety of briefing materials obtained from various sources for use by superiors in staff meetings, management updates, etc.
Requirements

- Up to 30 % travel on business
- Appointment to this position is subject to a one-year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) Utilizing mathematical variables; 2) Preparing statistical reports; AND 3) Collecting data for compiling reports.
