As a Building Manager, you will serve as the primary customer agency advocate and first GSA point of Contact with client agency personnel in designated GSA owned or leased buildings.Location of position: Public Buildings Service, Caribbean Field Office (2PSEC)
We are currently filling one vacancy in either HATO REY, PR or GUAYNABO, PR.
Additional vacancies may be filled as needed.
Requirements
- US Citizenship or National (Residents of American Samoa and Swains Island)
- Meet all eligibility criteria within 30 days of the closing date
- Meet time-in-grade within 30 days of the closing date, if applicable
- Register with Selective Service if you are a male born after 12/31/1959
- Must have valid driver's license

The GS-12 salary range starts at $82,830 per year. If you are a new federal employee, your starting salary will likely be set at the Step 1 of the grade for which you are selected. To qualify, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level or higher in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as evaluating policies and implementing programs related to the operation and maintenance of medium size (e.g. 500K sq ft), multi-level, commercial buildings (or equivalent non-housing high rise building); analyzing the effectiveness and efficiency of building operations, automated systems, and mechanical equipment; establishing and maintaining customer satisfaction programs that include feedback mechanisms used to evaluate the effectiveness of services provided; and managing or monitoring real property budgetary and financial data.

SELECTIVE PLACEMENT FACTOR (SPF): In addition to the qualification requirements listed above, you must also meet the following SPF, which has been identified as: Ability to speak fluently and understand the spoken and written word of English and Spanish.
