The primary purpose of this position is to provide supervisory oversight for a staff that manages and coordinates Federal environmental planning and historical preservation activities. The Ideal Candidate will have experience with Environmental and Historic Preservation (EHP) programs and has a familiarity with various with environmental laws and regulations.

Qualifications

To qualify for this position at the IC-13 level you must possess one full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the IC-12 level in the Federal government, which has equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position. Experience may be obtained in the Federal or Private Sector and must demonstrate all of the following:  Applying laws regarding environmental planning such as the National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA), the Endangered Species Act (ESA), Clean Air Act (CAA), and/or the Clean Water Act (CWA); Providing technical advice and recommendations regarding the implementation of environmental compliance; and Supervising a subordinate staff performing work related to environmental protection.
