This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies through the STRL Mission Support direct hire authority. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Duties

You will design, construct, test, and maintain highly scalable data management systems. You will develop and maintain databases, data processing systems, data pipelines, and large-scale processing systems. You will create and manage data architectures, including ETL processes, data models, reporting systems and write complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL). You will ensure systems meet business requirements and industry practices for data quality, data security, data privacy, develop procedures for data acquisition, and develop data set processes for data modeling, mining, and production.

Requirements

• This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or DP-03 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1), Designing, constructing, testing, and maintaining highly scalable data management systems;2) Developing and maintaining databases, data processing systems, data pipelines, and large-scale processing systems; and 3) Ensuring systems meet business requirements and industry practices for data quality, data security, and data privacy.
