Location of Position: General Services Administration (GSA), Office of the General Counsel (OGC) in Philadelphia, PA. We are currently filling one vacancy, but additional vacancies may be filled as needed.

Duties

This position has job functions that must be executed within a specific geographic location. The official duty station is a federal facility, leased space, or an alternative worksite (typically the employee’s home). Positions include routine telework and remote work arrangements that are geographically specific to: Philadelphia, PA.

For a brief video on creating a Federal resume, click here.  The GS-15 salary range starts at $150,235.00 per year.If you are a new federal employee, your starting salary will likely be set at the Step 1 of the grade for which you are selected.To qualify, you must possess all of the following:  Successful completion of a full course of study in a school of law accredited by the American Bar Association and possession of at least the initial professional law degree (J.D.); and Be a member of the bar; in good standing of a State, or territory of the United States, or the District of Columbia or Commonwealth of Puerto Rico Bar.  Proof of licensure is required.  Experience: Applicant must have at least 6 years of experience as a licensed practicing attorney, commensurate with the duties and responsibilities of the position, with at least 4 years of specialized experience and/or familiarity with one or more of the following areas: 1) Real estate, including acquisition, design, construction, renovation and repair of buildings, leasing, transfer and disposal of property, facility management and environmental issues; 2) Government contracts, including transactional matters, bid protests, claims, and acquisition of goods and services; 3) General law matters, including fiscal law, personnel, ethics, Freedom of Information Act and Privacy Act; and 4) Litigation, including defending claims and protests.
