About the Position: The installation rests in the beautiful 'hill and lake' country of Central Texas between Killeen and Copperas Cove and is approximately 60 miles north of the capital city of Austin, 50 miles south of Waco, 160 miles south of Dallas, and 150 miles north of San Antonio. Duties

Accomplish the full range of technical activity required for life-cycle project management on complete projects or studies of broad scope and complexity. Coordinate architectural, structural, civil, electrical, and mechanical materials/installation for large and small contracts. Analyze the nature and scope of projects, make feasibility studies, and reconcile project intent with sound engineering practices. Develop construction plans and specifications for large and small facilities supporting a variety of functions using conventional materials and a wide range of contracting methods.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-09). Or Other Applicants: One year of specialized experience which includes reviewing small projects to ensure quality and/or contract specification are met. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-10).
