This position is located at Bureau of the Fiscal Service, Deputy Commissioner Transformation & Modernization, Office of Strategy and Transformation. As a Management and Program Analyst, you will help develop and implement transformation programs and initiatives that are responsive to agency strategy and transformation priorities.
Duties
As a Management and Program Analyst, you will:
Help develop and implement transformation programs and initiatives that are responsive to agency strategy and transformation priorities.
Develop and execute an advanced level of management and program analysis theories and concepts that address new developments and theories to problems that are confidential in nature, and not susceptible to treatment by accepted methods
Provided advice and assistance to managers in formulating and developing overall management strategies, policies, objectives, plans and practices based upon the results of studies.
Plan and conduct research; analyzes data; writes, edits, and present reports, briefing papers or statements related to the various program areas within Treasury.
Meet frequently with other analysts and managers to inform them of, and discuss the results of analyses conducted, the criticality of such findings, and recommended courses of action.
Qualifications

The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. Specialized Experience For the GS-13, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position defined as analyzing findings and serving as an advisor to management by making recommendations to enhance the effectiveness of programs and operations.
Examples of this experience may include the following:
- Conducting studies and directing special projects; OR
- Composing oral and written presentations for delivery to management or service providers.
In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable:
For the GS-13, you must have been at the GS-12 level for 52 weeks.
