Qualifications

For GS-14: Applicants must meet the following to qualify for the GS-14 level: **One year of specialized experience in or directly related to this position that equipped the applicant with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of this position. To be creditable, the required specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the GS-13 level in the Federal service. Examples of GS-13 level work may include: 1) Providing expert level advisory services to leadership, management, and staff in the administration of a security program; 2) Applying an expert level of operational knowledge on a wide variety of security program regulations, policies, and procedures to evaluate complex personnel, physical, and national security programs. This includes developing personnel, physical, and national security policies and procedures with broad bureau impact; 3) Experience consulting with senior officials on the impact and application of new and existing legislation and policies. You must meet all qualification and eligibility requirements for the position by the closing date of the announcement.
