About the Position: This position is with the 76th United States Army Reserve Operational Response Command, G8, Comptroller, located in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Duties

Provide direction and oversight of the command’s Financial Improvement Audit Readiness (FIAR) program. Applies statutory and regulatory guidance to resolve unusual and difficult financial audit readiness situations. Evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of the FIAR program. Analyze automated financial system process maps and data flow to provide web-based solutions. Determine the reliability of reportable financial information in support of audit readiness. Review and correct obligation and disbursement reconciliations on auditable financial statements Advise and train program managers on processing accounting transactions and reconciling accounting/financial reports. Develop a variety of reports, papers, procedures, and instructions to accomplish financial audit readiness goals.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• This position requires the incumbent to possess a FM Certification Level 2.
• This position requires DoD Financial Management Certification Program Level 2.
