This position is located in Martin Luther King Jr National Historic Park, in the Facilities Maintenance Division.

Duties
As a Facility Services Assistant, you will perform the following duties:
Provides technical support for activities involved in asset management work associated with the Facility Management Software System (FMSS), the Facility Condition Assessment System (FCAS), and the Cost Estimating Software System (CESS), and to participate in the formulation and execution of long-range strategies for facility management.
Provides technical support on all aspects of FMSS/FCAS database software used to track and manage Facility Operations and Maintenance activities. Implements, operates, and maintains the database in order to achieve park, regional and departmental goals of reporting accurate and pertinent information relative to park maintenance and construction expenditures and needs.
Monitors all FMSS data entered into the system and makes any required changes. Establishes, maintains, and updates a computerized inventory of fixed property and schedules condition inspections.
Develops quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) procedures and monitors accuracy of data.
Prepares, reviews, and evaluates reports prepared from computerized and manual data management programs and recommends changes or adjustments to data gathering and reporting procedures and formats to meet program objectives.
Duties will be developmental in nature when filled below the full performance level.
Qualifications

Credit will be given for all appropriate qualifying experience. For current Federal employees, if hours worked per week are not included on your resume, you must submit a non-award SF-50 for each federal position listed as part of your application to be used to validate your work schedule and determine the amount of qualifying experience that you will be granted. To qualify for this position at the GS-05 grade level, you must possess one of the following minimum qualifications by close of the announcement:
EXPERIENCE: At least one full year of specialized experience comparable in scope and responsibility to the GS-4 grade level in the Federal service (obtained in either the public or private sectors). This experience includes activities such as: (1) managing databases, preparing reports utilizing databases; and analysis of report data; (2) record keeping, mathematical calculations and conversion for program costs and (3) administrative support functions. Maintaining records and database information; preparing reports for operational and/or fiscal purposes; and ensuring accurate information is documented/entered into database systems. Your resume must include hours per week worked.

EDUCATION: Successful completion of at least four years of education above the high school level obtained in an accredited business, secretarial or technical school, junior college, college or university. (Transcripts must be provided.)

Successful completion of a combination of education and experience as described above. To combine education and experience, first take percentage of education completed. Then take the number of months of full time experience and divide by 12 months. Add the percentages together. The total must equal at least 100 percent to qualify. You must include transcripts.
To qualify for this position at the GS-06 grade level, you must possess the following minimum qualifications by close of the announcement:
EXPERIENCE: At least one full year of specialized experience comparable in scope and responsibility to the GS-05 grade level in the Federal service (obtained in either the public or private sectors). This experience includes activities such as: (1) managing databases, preparing reports utilizing databases; and analysis of report data; (2) record keeping, mathematical calculations and conversion for program costs and (3) administrative support functions. Maintaining records and database information; preparing reports for operational and/or fiscal purposes; ensuring accurate information is documented/entered into database systems; analyzing report data for accuracy; and providing administrative support on the collection of data. Your resume must include hours per week worked.
To qualify for this position at the GS-07 grade level, you must possess the following minimum qualifications by close of the announcement:
EXPERIENCE: At least one full year of specialized experience comparable in scope and responsibility to the GS-06 grade level in the Federal service (obtained in either the public or private sectors). This experience includes activities such as: (1) reviewing project statements, specifications, and estimates for material and labor costs associated with maintenance projects; (2) managing databases, preparing reports utilizing databases; and analysis of report data; (3) record keeping, mathematical calculations and conversion for program costs and (4) administrative support functions. Providing technical support on database software; maintaining database information; preparing reports for operational and/or fiscal purposes; ensuring accurate information is documented/entered into database systems; collecting and analyzing report data; and preparing, reviewing, and/or evaluating prepared reports. accredited institution with your name, school name, credit hours, course level, major(s), and grade-point average or class ranking. Transcripts do not need to be official, but if you are selected for this position and you used your education to qualify, you must provide official transcripts before you begin work.

education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet qualification requirements, you must show that your education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
