The incumbent sweep, mop, vacuum, use industrial cleaning equipment to clean floors; clean bathrooms; clean and disinfect medical, dental and office areas; empty and line trash containers in a stand-alone ambulatory health care center. No relocation costs will be paid. The position reports to the Facility Manager.

Duties

Clean and disinfect in medical, dental and office area (exam tables, waiting chairs, rest room fixtures, counter tops, medical stands, and exam room sinks). Disposes infectious waste according to proper procedure. Vacuum carpet and floors, dust mopping, wet mopping, and buffing. Clean water fountains, bathrooms, and kitchen areas daily, including toilets, tubs, showers, sinks, miscellaneous fixtures, mirrors, counters and cupboards. Empty and line trash containers daily and cleans outdoor ash cans as needed. Check soap dispensers, towel dispensers, and toilet paper dispensers with refill as needed.

Qualifications

Physical Requirements: Applicants must be physically able to perform efficiently the duties of the position. Working Conditions: Incumbent is exposed to unpleasant odors and is frequently exposed to the possibility of cuts, chapped hands and bruises. Protective gloves must be worn at all times when handling Infectious waste. You must meet all qualification requirements within 30 days of the closing date of the announcement.
