THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION.
This is a National Guard position for a WG-2610-12 ELECTRONIC INTEGRATED SYSTEMS MECHANIC (TITLE 32), Position Description Number D0872P01 in SPMD 4622 and is part of the MO Army Aviation Support Facility Ft Leonard Wood.
APPOINTMENT FACTORS: This is an Indefinite/Permanent (may retain current tenure if on-board) Excepted Service position. This is a bargaining position. SEE NOTES UNDER CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT BELOW.
Duties
Performs operational checks, inspections, tests and troubleshooting on electronic integrated systems composed of a number of sensor subsystems.
Completes operational checks, inspections, tests and troubleshooting of Line Replaceable Units (LRU).
Isolates unusual malfunctions using technical manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams, tools and test equipment including automatic test equipment.
Completes bench check, testing, repair, inspection, modification, programming, reprogramming, mating, adjusting, alignment, and analyzing of LRUs and shop replaceable units.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- If selected individual is in a Permanent status (Tenure 1 or 2) with the Missouri Army National Guard, that individual will retain their Permanent status.
- If selected individual is in an Indefinite status (Tenure 3) with the Missouri Army National Guard, that individual will retain their Indefinite status.
- Management has the right to convert this position to permanent status without re-advertising.
- Indefinite employment can be terminated with a 30 day notice.

- This is an Excepted Service position that requires membership in a compatible military assignment in the Missouri National Guard prior to the effective date of placement.
- Selectee will be required to wear the military uniform.
- Acceptance of an Excepted Service position constitutes concurrence with these requirements as a condition of employment.

Qualifications
MILITARY REQUIREMENTS: Compatible military grade and assignment required prior to the effective date of placement. This is an Excepted Service position that requires membership in a compatible military assignment in the employing state's National Guard. Applicants who are not currently a member of the National Guard must be eligible for immediate membership. Maximum Military Grade - SFC (E-7)
Enlisted - CMF 15; MOS 94E, 94R, 94W, 94Y or 94Z
Supervisor must verify that selected individual occupies a compatible military position. Technicians will not be militarily senior to their full-time supervisor or wage leader (grade inversion).
GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Must possess experience, education, or training, in a variety of operations or situations concerned with substance or content of supply actions, requiring ability to decide course of action to take, considering the circumstances or conditions encountered; and experience using computer and automation systems.
WG-12 SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must possess 18 months of specialized experience in utilizing principles, basic functions and application of theory of electronics to one or more complex integrated systems; experience which required you to solve varied arithmetic problems, including computation of unstated values on drawings, requiring trigonometry and algebra; experience which required you to understand effects of malfunctions throughout interrelated units; diagnosing and determining needed repairs for malfunctions in electronic systems where knowledge of the entire system is necessary to interpret error data and trace back through a number of units of the system to locate deficiencies; and interpreting and applying drawings, schematics and diagrams for integrated electronic systems.
