You will serve as a PROTOTYPE SUPPORT SPECIALIST in the Digital Analytics Infrastructure and Technology Advancement (DAiTA) Group; ACQUISTION SUPPORT DIV of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV.
Duties
You will review engineering data packages and drawings to identify parts that need to be gathered for aircraft installation.
You will research the type of parts, suitable substitutes, address schedule and cost concerns and coordinate and communicate this information to the projects program manager.
You will work with a subject matter expert to determine the appropriate method to procure parts to be installed or fabricated to make final install parts and ensure the correct part are being obtained.
You will complete monthly reports tracking the amount of money spent on parts
Requirements

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Use of management information systems, office automation systems and processes and computer applications, principles and techniques in support of program/competency operations 2) Performing parts research and understanding of parts application and adherence to specifications; 3) Knowledge of electrical and mechanical hardware components and their intended use; 4) Ability to apply analytical techniques, accounting, budget, workload planning, and economic principles and techniques; 5) Understanding of engineering drawing material requirements
