The Engineering Technician (Aerospace) will lead the installation and testing of propulsion units and maintain test equipment and facilities for four different Fuels & Energy test labs.
Duties
Performs work of broad scope and complexity providing the highest organizational level of technical support associated with analyzing, designing, developing, installing, repairing, fabricating, maintaining, modifying, or evaluating the most complex systems for which the FAA is responsible.
Requirements
- US Citizenship is required.
- Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
- Must submit an SF50 (See Required Documents)

Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position.Specialized Experience includes: Experience with aviation engine and fuels testing that includes test stand design and setup, calibration of sensors and support equipment to include experience conducting piston engine endurance and detonation tests.ANDSelective placement factor (SPF) is a knowledge, skill or ability (KSA) or competency essential to perform the duties of a position.
