This position is located in the Division of Risk Management Supervision, Administrative Section. The incumbent will be responsible for providing support in the areas of administrative, management, and program planning activities.

Qualifications
Qualifying experience may be obtained in the private or public sector. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic, religious/spiritual; community; student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. To qualify for the CG-09: Applicants must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the CG-07 level in the federal service. Specialized experience is experience providing administrative support, assisting with administrative operations, and preparing written documents and spreadsheets using word processing software.

EDUCATION: To qualify based on education; applicants must possess a Master's or equivalent graduate degree, or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree, or an LL.B. or J.D., if related.

COMBINING EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Combinations of successfully completed education and experience may be used to meet total qualification requirements for the CG-09 level.
To qualify for the CG-11: Applicants must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the CG-09 level in the federal service. Specialized experience is defined as interpreting and applying federal laws and regulations; utilizing analytical and evaluative methods to perform duties; using a variety of software to create reports and presentations; preparing written communication; and interpreting and applying policies and procedures.

EDUCATION: To qualify based on education; applicants must possess a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree, or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree, or an LL.M., if related.

COMBINING EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Combinations of successfully completed education and experience may be used to meet total qualification requirements for the CG-11 level.
To qualify for the CG-12: Applicants must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the CG-11 level in the federal service. Specialized experience is defined as interpreting and applying federal laws and regulations; utilizing analytical and evaluative methods to perform duties; using a variety of software (e.g. Microsoft Office) to create reports and presentations; preparing written communication for use by management; and interpreting and applying policies and procedures to provide guidance to management.
There is no substitution of education at the CG-12 level.
