You will serve as a Rigger (Diver) in the Diving Shop (72B), Diving Division (TRF-380), Repair Department (TRF-300) of TRIREFFAC KINGS BAY.

Duties

You will plan, lay out, assemble, repair, and install complex weight handling gear and various rigging. You will determine the exact placement of such items as padeyes, beam clamps, and chain falls. You will set up and operate equipment used in diving operations, observing all safety requirements set forth in the USN Diving Manual. You will use and maintain rigging equipment, to support underwater rigging. You maintain, troubleshoot and repair hydraulic and pneumatic equipment and tools used in underwater work to include power packs, drills, grinders, chainsaws, and boring tools.

Working in crane teams to provide safe operation, inspecting and testing ordnance handling equipment and general purpose rigging gear. Inspecting general purpose rigging gear and installing beam clamps.
