Duties
Coordinate with Staff Judge Advocates (SJA) worldwide to determine their personnel needs.
Evaluate each request and each student's background to determine the appropriate placement of for Summer On-the-Job training.
Review statistical data such as training documents, the 5 year performance plan, budget reports, and assignment forecasts, to determine Funded Legal Education Program (FLEP) programs budget.
Prepare budget to ensure funds are available to send students to on-the-job training sites.
Compose memorandum to Staff Judge Advocates worldwide to explain the Funded Legal Education Program and the eligibility requirements.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- One-year trial/probationary period may be required.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes providing advice to various individuals on legal education program requirements; administering school placement for internship or externship programs; coordinating preparation of budget requirements; and preparing reports or correspondence.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
