You will serve as an Electronics Technician (Air Traffic Control Systems) in the Air Operations Department, Ground Electronics Maintenance Division of NAS JAX.
Duties
You will be required to collaborate with other subject matter experts to offer technical expertise on Air Traffic Control systems.
You will diagnose equipment malfunction through the use of system analysis, test equipment, and schematics.
You will perform technical operations verification that the system, equipment, or components are performing within designated certification parameters.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Reviewing technical airfield electronic work for compliance with regulations; 2) Troubleshooting and repairing airfield electronic equipment, air traffic control systems, radar, instrument approach systems, navigational aids, and communications systems to solve complex technical problems or improve system performance; 3) Evaluating equipment design to improve or enhance circuit and system operation; and 4) Using applicable test equipment, test methods, and practices as related to the Air Traffic Control equipment and systems, including safety precautions.
