The primary purpose of this position is to serve as an experienced intelligence specialist in the role of a Cryptologic Operations Support Officer in the Space Force Cryptologic Office. The position engages in the complex technical collection and reporting of information obtained from cryptologic and sources through various means in support of space operations and other national security requirements.
Duties
-Serves as a cryptologic operations specialist working complex mission support requirements. Requires use of independent judgement and experience to plan and execute cryptologic support to military operations, especially space operations.
-Develops and presents cryptologic support concepts to a wide variety of service, national and coalition customers. Provides Combatant Commanders and USSF leadership with cryptologic support concepts to maximize USSF forces' effectiveness by optimizing friendly force strengths, exploiting adversary weaknesses, and countering adversary strengths.
-Conducts complex research, evaluation, collection, dissemination and fusion of multi-source information from one or more intelligence disciplines (primarily SIGINT) to satisfy a broad range of customer requirements. Evaluates a wide variety of complex and non-routine collection and operations projects/programs/teams to support component, combatant command, and support agency planning and operations.
-Plans, advises, and oversees cryptologic support operations. Manages, oversees, and integrates functions to cryptologic support and situational awareness necessary to successfully plan and conduct operations in support of commanders and other customers within the assigned areas of responsibility.
-Serves as a functional authority on cryptologic support operations. Makes recommendations and defends decisions on operational policy matters to the SFCO Director and SF/S2 staff, and is often required to make recommendations on committing expenditures of resources impacting future capabilities and programs.

Qualifications
This is a GG-11 position in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). The GG-11 duties for the "Professional" work category are at the "Full Performance" work level and are equivalent to those at the GS-11 level. The selectee's salary will be set within the grade equivalent to a GS/GG grade based on the selectee's qualifications in relation to the job.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Your resume must reflect the quality level of experience which demonstrates the possession of the knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for successful job performance required for this position. Examples of creditable experience include: Extensive knowledge of and skill in applying the full range of intelligence research and collection methods, techniques, and practices to difficult and complex work assignments such as using multi-source intelligence information systems to capture data in order to develop new methods, approaches, or procedures for intelligence capabilities and analyzing threat assessments. Knowledge of advanced principles, concepts, and methods to produce detailed reports on complex information/situations attained from multiple sources. Demonstrated knowledge of the national intelligence community, Joint, DoD structure, organizations and mission/functions, inter-relationships and operations. Note: Creditable experience may include previous military experience, experience gained in the private sector, or experience gained in another government agency.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
1. Knowledge of a comprehensive range of intelligence research and collection methods, techniques, and practices; and multi-source intelligence information systems to capture and report on data in order to develop intelligence capabilities and threat assessments, interpret policy, and commit resources.
2. Knowledge of advanced dissemination principles, concepts, and methods to disburse the most complex information/situations attained from multiple sources.
3. Knowledge of the national intelligence community, Joint, DoD structure, organizations and mission/functions, inter- relationships and space operations.
4. Skill in conducting unbiased complex research, identifying appropriate available systems/data sources, and producing collection requirement assessments that answer specific tasks to link and leverage agency capabilities in support of consumers, customers, and clients.
5. Skill in communicating effectively with others, both orally and in writing; in working out solutions to problems or questions related to the work; writing clear and concise intelligence products; and delivering written and/or verbal presentations to senior level audiences for decision-making purposes.
6. Ability to maintain control of classified material; quickly assimilate disparate data; render knowledgeable and accurate assessments of the implication of such data; make decisions, estimates, and recommendations under conditions of urgency and pressure based on mature judgment and experience; and present and/or justify a position effectively.

1. Position is designated special-sensitive and requires eligibility for access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), other intelligence-related Special Sensitive information, or involvement in Top Secret Special Access Programs (SAP) to fully perform the duties and responsibilities of the position. A non-disclosure agreement must be signed.
2. Drug Testing: This position has been designated by the Air Force as a Testing Designated Position (TDP) under the Air Force Civilian Drug Demand Reduction Program. Employee must pass initial and periodic short notice drug testing. Illegal drug use by employees in sensitive positions presents a clear threat to the mission of the Air Force, national security, and public safety.
3. Polygraph: Incumbent is required to undergo a counter-intelligence scope polygraph examination and periodic reexaminations. Additionally, incumbent must meet and maintain NSA/CSS security suitability standards as an inherent primary requirement of their position.
4. Incumbent must possess and maintain a valid state driver's license. While attending meetings and conducting required coordination with national-level counterparts, incumbent will frequently be required to travel, by vehicle, throughout the metropolitan Washington, D.C. area.
