This position is located in Bent's Old Fort National Historic Site, in the Facility Maintenance Division of the Amache National Historic Site.

Duties
Routine and non-routine maintenance on tractors/riding mowers and associated attached/towed equipment.
Electrical repairs to include such tasks as replace switches and light fixtures, changing light bulbs, assisting certified electrician(s) when pulling wire through conduit and install electrical boxes.
Concrete and plaster touch-up around historic and masonry structures.
Carpentry work to include construction, install, replace/repair items such as doors, shelves, racks, hardware, frame structures, windows, trim and cabinets, application of paint and stains to wood surfaces.
Provide daily direction to a diverse staff of wage grade employees comprised of term and seasonal employees.
Qualifications
To qualify for this position, you must have sufficient knowledge and ability in the following job-related factors:
Ability to Lead or Supervise (SCREEN OUT)
Knowledge of equipment assembly, installation, Repair, etc.
Technical Practices (theoretical, precise, artistic).
Use of measuring instruments.
Ability to interpret instructions, specifications, etc.
Ability to use andmaintaintools and equipment.
Knowledge of materials.
