Duties
As a Senior Project Manager, you will:
- Perform an in-depth assessment of the problems to ascertain the cause and effect of the Production or Asset Management's project difficulties;
- Collect, analyze, and record extensive project and market information in order to develop a problem diagnosis and a recommended response; and
- Arrange meetings with lenders, owners, management agents, local government, and residents.
Qualifications
You must meet the following requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement.
Specialized Experience: For the GS-14, you must have one year (52 full weeks) of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized Experience for this position includes:
- Developing solutions to address physical, financial, and compliance issues relating to potentially troubled and troubled Multifamily projects; AND
-Coordinating or supporting a variety of Multifamily housing program functions (such as FHA mortgage insurance, Section 202, and 811 Capital Advance programs, Section 8 PBRA (including RAD), risk management, and compliance); AND
-Consulting with, and providing, technical assistance nationally to HUD Regional Multifamily program officials, Federal, state, & local government officials on a variety of Multifamily housing program related technical matters.
Experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. Time-in-Grade: In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable:
For the GS-14 you must have been at the GS-13 level for 52 weeks.
Time After Competitive Appointment: Candidates who are current Federal employees serving on a non-temporary competitive appointment must have served at least three months in that appointment.
