Duties
This position is located under the Office of Field Operations, Houston Field Division in Houston, Texas.
As an Industry Operations Specialist (Senior Operations Officer), GS-1801-13, your typical work assignments may include:
Qualifications
To qualify for GS-13, candidates must also have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level GS-12.
Specialized experience is demonstrated experience, which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform successfully the duties of this position. Experience must be in the normal line of progression or must be related to the work of the position advertised and must be reflected in resume.
GS-13 - You qualify if you possess one year of specialized experience, equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal, State, or Local government or equivalent public or private sector experience, performing the following duties:
-experience advising management officials on regulatory and law enforcement policy issues; and
-participating in studies and preparing results and making recommendations; and
-participating or facilitating working groups on significant and multi-functional regulatory and law enforcement projects.
