Duties
Serve as Supervisor for one of three USAMMA Medical Maintenance Operations Divisions (MMOD).
Serve as the subject matter expert for all aspects of all MMOD medical maintenance programs for assigned medical systems and designated commodities.
Ensure Mobile Depot Maintenance teams are fully functional and readily available to support Army Operational Forces worldwide.
Provide technical oversight on maintenance programs and teams to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations.
Effectively and efficiently manage operating budget in order to accomplish the assigned maintenance mission.
Assess the availability of resources for production and realistic industry approaches to manufacturing and supply chain management.
Provide advice to accomplish depot-level production missions and ISO 9001 processes based on research and analysis of complex action options.
Evaluate employees and provide or arrange for needed development and training.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- One-year probationary period may be required.
- One-year supervisory probationary period may be required.
- Travel to other duty locations 15% of the time.
- Financial Disclosure Form OGE-450 submission is required.
- Secret security clearance is required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes (1) managing large scale medical maintenance operations in order to achieve organizational objectives; (2) managing an operating budgeting in order to accomplish assigned maintenance functions; and (3) assigning work to subordinates based on priorities, difficulty and requirements of assignments, and capabilities of employees.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-13).
