Duties

As an Information Specialist, you will: Initiate independent studies regarding processing and data-flow procedures in support of Multifamily Regional housing data systems. Assure that data base management functions are performed for each system in accordance with system procedures and handbooks. Insure adequacy, suitability, and implementation of local data flow and control procedures established by Data Base Managers and recommends improvements, where necessary Execute the primary role in activities, associated with system implementation which includes planning, training, data collection, and general system orientation. Assemble, monitor, and provide appropriate data for the Multifamily Regional Center as required.

Qualifications

You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement. Specialized Experience: For the GS-13 grade level, you must have one year (52 full weeks) of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized Experience for this position includes: - Planning, developing, and implementing projects involving management of information systems; AND - Providing technical assistance to management on management information system applications; AND - Preparing reports by analyzing and extracting information from multiple data sources. Experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. To ensure full credit for your work experience, please indicate dates of employment by month/day/year, and indicate number of hours worked per week on your resume.
