About the Position: This position is located with the Army Tank-Automotive and Armament Command (TACOM). ILSC, Supply Chain Integration Directorate, Demand Planning Division.
Duties
Lead a team of personnel in performing supply duties.
Utilize knowledge to advise the team on maintaining fully operational system applications, systems, logic, and tools to support functional business areas.
Provide technical guidance to the team in support of systems and applications such as: Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP).
Investigate performance trends to identify root cause of repeated/patterned issues; support ERP configuration management for supply chain personnel and processes to resolve compatibility issues; and ensure ERP capabilities meet end users needs.
Provide the supervisor and/or leadership with higher-level, strategic briefs and reports.
Provide expert advice and guidance to assist other supply chain functions in planning and executing scenarios to inform analyses for leadership and management officials.
Manage and train the team on developing and testing the system solutions to fill business needs; identify and define system requirements to support business processes.
Evaluate overall team performance and develop and implement plans to improve team performance.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance.
- This position has a Data Analytics requirement. The incumbent must meet all requirements for Data Analytics level two (2) certification within 24 months of placement into the position.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
