About the Position: Must be able to satisfy the requirements of the 26JUL12 DODI 1400.25 V1230, DoD Civilian Personnel Management System: Employment in Foreign Areas and Employee Return Rights.
You will apply an extensive knowledge of management concepts, principles, methods and practices as well as knowledge of USACE Mission, capabilities and assets, Construction Best Practices and Processes, Contract Acquisition procedures and Fiscal Law.
Duties
Responsible for the overall management, control, coordination, and execution of assigned programs and projects.
Implement corporate decisions, guidance, laws, regulations, and policy in the development of the project and intermediate products in support of the program.
Negotiate and integrate all district functions customer requirements, regulatory and environmental requirements, and other agencies commitments in support of assigned programs/projects into a comprehensive PgMP/PMP.
Coordinate the planning, design, cost engineering, construction, and environmental considerations, etc., for a complex highly visible program and specific project.
Responsible for the efficient, effective, and timely accomplishment and coordination of the programming, planning, design and construction of projects.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- One year trial/probationary period may be required.
- This position requires you to submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report (OGE450) upon entry, and annually thereafter.
- Incumbent must have or be able to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance.
- This position requires the incumbent to possess or obtain and maintain a driver's license in one of the 50 US states or possessions and any installation and/or DoD requirement.
