Duties
You will prepare budget and estimates to support plans, programs, and activities.
You will research guides to locate accounting, budgetary and financial information and prepares summaries for use by higher-graded analysts.
You will develop, determine, and interpret budgetary policies and practices.
You will check the accuracy and consistency of data and decide which records and documents to review and extract data from.
Requirements

- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

- This is a Financial Management Level 2 certified position per the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Section 1599d. You must achieve this level within prescribed timelines. Certification requirements are in DoD Instruction 1300.26.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This is a bargaining unit position.
Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of one year experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Analyzing, resolving, formulating, and conceptualizing a range of budgetary and/or financial problems and develop an alternative solutions.

Education
The following education may be substituted for experience:
Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
or
3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
LL.M., if related
