You will serve as a SECRETARY (Office Automation) in the Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard & Intermediate Maintenance Facility, Operations Department Code 300 of PEARL HARBOR NSY AND IMF.
A Cost-of-Living-Allowance (COLA) of 9.28% will be added to the stated salary. COLA is subject to change at any time.
Duties
You will perform a variety of administrative support duties such as making complete arrangements for large conferences, composing complex correspondence, locating and assembling information for various reports, briefing, conference, etc.
You will maintain subject matter files and records.
You will receives visitors and telephone calls to the office and determine the nature of requests and directs callers to appropriate staff.
You will answer request for information concerning Office/Department functions.
You will take requests for appointments with supervisor and staff.
Requirements

- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card to make official government purchases for goods and services.
- You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.
- Work is performed in areas where potentially harmful physical and chemical agents are present (e.g. fumes, dust, heat, ionizing and non-ionizing radiation and chemicals). You will be required to participate in medical surveillance programs.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-06) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing secretarial and administrative support functions using office automation or software in an office setting.
