Duties

Monitor and assists team personnel in formulation of plans concerning access, demand, staffing, and provider templates/schedules. Develop strategies to streamline operations following prescribed directives. Analyzes resource utilization, customer satisfaction, team synergy, and coding accuracy and timeliness. Monitor data quality, data security, and data timeliness. Procure and maintains administrative supplies and equipment.

Requirements

• All Health Care Providers must be able to obtain and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) training and certification that is sponsored or endorsed by the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Tier 1: Appointment to this position is subject to a background investigation to determine your suitability for Federal employment.
• This position requires the incumbent to have tuberculosis testing.
• This position has mandatory seasonal influenza vaccination requirements and is subject to annual seasonal influenza vaccinations unless otherwise exempted for medical or religious reasons (documentation of exemption must be provided upon hire).
• This position may require other immunizations such as Hepatitis B.

Qualifications

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes verifying patient information in an electronic or paper medical record; analyzing data to evaluate program effectiveness; preparing reports for clinic usage; providing customer service to patients such as relaying messages and/or scheduling appointments. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06). OR Education: One full year of graduate level education in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as Business, Communications, or Healthcare Administration. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) by 18. Add the two percentages.
