About the Position: This position is located at Minot Air Force Base, North Dakota.

Duties

Responsible for unit level management and oversight of Medical Group contracts. Provide contracting clerical/technical expertise for the organization and serve as the unit liaison to the Contracting Office. Collaborate with Medical Contracts Business Advisor, government supervisors, functional SMEs and COs to monitor contract performance for compliance with terms and conditions of contracts. Coordinate effective modifications to the contract with Contract Administrator, and briefs executive staff and MAJ COM on any updates on status of contract administration, performance and functional areas. Assist in the development of contract modifications and submits approved actions for award. Prepare letters, memoranda documents, or reports that support contractual actions or recommendations.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • A Personnel Security Investigation is required.
  • This position is a Testing Designated Position subject to pre-employment screening and random drug testing. Selectees will be required to consent to participation in random drug urinalysis testing.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid stateside driver's license.

Qualifications

Who May Apply: US Citizens In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes providing contracting technical/clerical expertise to organization and maintaining records and/or files for assigned section. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06). OR Education: One full year of graduate level education in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) by 18. Add the two percentages. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Contracting/ProcurementCustomer Service (Clerical/Technical)Written Communication
