You will serve as a SEXUAL ASSAULT PREVENTION AND RESPONSE COORDINATOR (SAR WF) of 1ST MARINE CORPS.
Duties
You will coordinate response activities in the event of a sexual assault report
You will ensure victims are receiving direct and indirect services to receive guidance and emotional support during administrative, medical,
investigative, and legal procedures.
You will ensure sexual assault victims are properly advised of their options for restricted and unresctricted reporting.
You will provide serve as a non-clinical trainer/educator responsible for the implementation of various initiatives to build skills that promote
protective factors and increase positive behaviors.
You will focus on prevention and response of sexual harassment and sexual assault
You will provide a 24/7 response capability for victims of sexual assault across the scope of the area of consideration.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

- Must be able to obtain and maintain access to Catch a Serial Offender (CATCH) Program, Defense Sexual Assault Incident Database (DSAID).
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Driver's License
- Position requires a uncommon tour of duty
Qualifications
In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing sexual assault advocacy services; developing, implementing crisis plan of actions and sexual assault assistance plans; AND developing and coordinating command SAPR prevention and awareness campaign events

ADDITIONAL CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
Due to the nature of work in this position, the incumbent ma serve in an "on call" duty status outside of normal work hours that includes remaining in a reasonable call back radius, carrying a cell phone, staffing the 24/7 support line duty as needed; regularly checking email to respond to crises; remaining in a state of readiness to perform work with limitations on pursuing outside leisure activities while on call; and/or reporting to a designated post of duty to be ready to or to perform work.
Education
Applicants must meet the following positive education qualifications requirements of the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualifications Standards Manual:
Applicants must possess: Degree: behavioral or social science; or related disciplines appropriate to the position.
OR
Combination of education and experience that provided the applicant with knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field.
OR
Four years of appropriate experience that demonstrated that the applicant has acquired knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social of 5 sciences equivalent to a major in the field.
