You will serve as an Information Technology Specialist in the Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO), and report directly to the Director, Office of IT Services. You will assist in aligning business and enterprise initiatives, modernization of infrastructure (Cloud, on-prem), assist in implementation of standards as assigned, help maintenance of the systems software, hardware, operations, and maintenance, assist in development of system documentation for al IT programs/projects.

Qualifications
To meet the minimum qualifications for this position, you must meet either the education or specialized experience requirements for the grade at which you are requesting consideration.To qualify for the GS-11 on Experience, you must have at least one year of experience equal or equivalent to the GS-09 it must include:
Experience in providing excellent customer services to OCIO, various program offices within any organization including Office of Chief Information Office (OCIO).
Assist in modernization effort with cloud transformation providing necessary support with assessment and design adopting “Cloud Smart” (a long-term, high-level strategy to drive cloud adoption in public/private sector) approach
Lead the initiative of implementing robotic process automation at the agency level working with business areas, collecting their business cases and deliver automation using standard process automation tools. Should be experienced with integrating AI (artificial intelligence0 and ML (machine learning).
To qualify for the GS-11 on Education alone, you must have:
3 years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. degree or Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree.
You can also qualify based on a combination of higher level graduate education and experience. This must be fully supported by your resume and transcripts, provided with your application.
To qualify for the GS-12 on Experience, you must have at least one year of experience equal or equivalent to the GS-11 it must include:
Analyze and define network requirements, network workload, monitoring network capacity and performance, diagnosing, and resolving network problems, for both cloud and on-prem.
Assist with the implementation of DevSecOps and CI/CD pipeline providing automation and enforcing guardrails.
Use the knowledge and skill of programming languages and scripts to manipulate various areas withing CI/CD pipeline providing stability, reliability, and performance.
You cannot qualify on education at the GS-12 level; you must have experience.
To qualify for the GS-13 on Experience, you must have at least one year of experience equal or equivalent to the GS-12 it must include:
Assist and support in development, implement, and ensure compliance with plans, policies, standards, infrastructures, and architectures that establish the framework for the management of IT programs.
Provide technical advice, guidance, and recommendations to management and other technical specialists on critical IT issues.
Perform the role of COR (Contracting Officer’s Representative), ACOR where needed.
You cannot qualify on education at the GS-13 level; you must have experience.

Project Management - Knowledge of the principles, methods, or tools for developing, scheduling, coordinating, and managing projects and resources, including monitoring and inspecting costs, work, and contractor performance. Knowledge of the principles, methods, and tools for the coordinated management of an IT program to include providing oversight of multiple IT projects, integrating dependent schedules and deliverables, and related activities (for example, benefits management, life cycle management, program governance).
