Duties
This position will serve as a Sandblaster and performs all sandblasting work which involves the repair and alteration of various assets and products.Being a CG civilian makes you a valuable member of the CG team. Typical work assignments include:
Requirements
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
- Applicant is required to meet the physical requirements of the position.
- The position requires a valid state driver's license.
- Males born after 12/31/1959 must be registered for Selective Service.
- A one-year probationary may be required.
Qualifications
Applicants will be evaluated on their ability to perform the duties of the position rather than the length of experience. Eligibility will be determined by the relevance, scope, and quality of all experience and training, regardless of where or how acquired. Applicants will be rated and ranked based on their knowledge of the following job elements:
Ability to do the work of the position without more than normal supervision (Screen-out Element)
Knowledge of equipment assembly, installation, repair, etc.
Operation of sandblaster (specify equipment, machinery, etc.)
Technical Practices (theoretical, precise, artistic)
Ability to interpret instructions, specifications, etc. (other than blueprinting reading)
Dexterity and Safety
