About the Position: The Walla Walla District US Army Corps of Engineers is comprised of motivated and talented employees providing the very best engineering services for communities in the Pacific Northwest. The District helps manage local water resources for navigation, flood damage reduction, disaster assistance, hydroelectric power generation, and other natural and heritage areas.

Duties

Serves in the capacity of the District’s Strategic Planner. Oversees development and implementation of strategic plans, including facilitating the District's Operations Plan, providing support to the Division Operations Plan, the Programs and Project Management Business Process, and the Annual Training Guide. Develops corporate level strategy, program objectives, and program initiatives for assigned programs. Plans, assigns and reviews work of subordinates based on priorities, difficulty of assignments and capabilities of employees assuring that production and accuracy requirements are met.
