Duties

Serve as a Health Systems Specialist within the Technology, Management, and Integration Division of the Health Informatics Directorate. Provide professional and technical expertise, proficiency, guidance, oversight, and organizational skills in support of Technology, Management, and Integration (TMI) Division. Identify needed developmental areas and recommends improvements. Continually review and evaluate effectiveness, efficiency, of performance and quality of results of operations of processes and products for the varies solution areas. Work with the customer to diagnose a Clinical and business problem and recommend an appropriate set of tools and applications as a solution without bias to any particular type of technology.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
• Approximately 5% travel/TDY may be required. Travel may involve local, remote and/or overnight.
• Must be able to work outside normal duty hours to meet the needs of the customer.
