In the Office of Human Resource Management, we take care of the people who make it safe to fly by providing programs and services to over 45,000 employees worldwide. The Chief Learning Officer plays a pivotal role in leading the learning and development function at the FAA. You will work closely with executive leadership, managers, and other stakeholders to understand the evolving business and workforce needs and translate them into a learning strategy.
Duties
The Executive Director, Career and Leadership Development/Chief Learning Officer is responsible for creating learning opportunities and enhancing the FAA's career and leadership development products and services for approximately 45,000 employees. Successes in this position have the potential to push the boundaries of the organization's performance and success. The incumbent executes the duties and responsibilities via a team of approximately 24 employees.

Qualifications
As a basic requirement for entry into the FAA Executive System, you must provide evidence of progressively responsible leadership experience that is indicative of senior executive level management capability; and that is directly related to the skills and abilities outlined under the Leadership and Technical Requirements listed below.LEADERSHIP REQUIREMENT: Do you have experience in achieving operational results?
