About the position: This position will be assigned to the 47th Force Support Squadron, located within the Marketing Department on Laughlin AFB, Del Rio, Texas.. This position is considered Regular Full Time (RFT). Guaranteed 35 hours a week with potential to a maximum of 40 hours per week. You may be required to work nights, weekends and holidays. RFT employees are eligible to earn annual and sick leave as well as benefits including Health/Dental and Life Insurance, 401k and Retirement.

Duties

Assists in determining marketing techniques and strategies to increase efficiency, enhance participation and increase financial income to the Force Support Squadron activities. Assists in conducting advertising campaigns. Obtains information on upcoming events, special programs and offers for activity managers. Makes recommendations to activity managers on the design of effective advertising vehicles and appropriate media mix. Assists in planning marketing campaigns designed to enhance participation in Force Support activities. Assists in conducting media relations with on- and off-base media. Assists the Marketing Specialist by administering surveys, analyzing results, and providing feedback. Knowledge and experience in web hosting and social media Marketing preferred. In addition, must have specialized experience which demonstrates the ability to design and layout advertising copy and artwork using desk top publishing software, word processing and other software. Must have experience developing, conducting and analyzing market research information. Must possess skill in dealing with customers and public. Education
