This position is located in Department of Homeland Security (DHS), United States Coast Guard, Director of Operational Logistics, Base Portsmouth, Naval Engineering Department located in Atlantic Beach, NC.
Duties
This position operates in support of the US Coast Guard (USCG), Naval Engineering Support Unit, Industrial Operations Division and performs major overhaul and/or repairs on all types of machinery and mechanical equipment aboard Coast Guard vessels and stations or used in support of Coast Guard missions.
Requirements
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
- This position requires a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI).
- Applicant is required to meet the physical requirements of the position.
- The position requires a valid state driver's license.
- Males born after 12/31/1959 must be registered for Selective Service.
- A one-year probationary period may be required.
