As a Realty Specialist, you will develop or significantly contribute to the development of regional real estate policy on a variety of diverse and complex technical, professional or administrative issues.  This position is located in the Policy, Oversight and Compliance Program Office, Public Building Services (PBS), Atlanta, GA and Fort Lauderdale, FL.  We are currently filling two vacancies, but additional vacancies may be filled as needed.

Duties

This position has job functions that must be executed within a specific geographic location. The official duty station is a federal facility, leased space, or an alternative worksite (typically the employee’s home). Positions include routine telework that are geographically specific to: Atlanta, GA, or Fort Lauderdale, FL.  The duty station will be determined upon selection and will be located within the geographic area described.  The incumbent will be expected to report to a GSA facility in Atlanta, GA or Fort Lauderdale,  FL at least 2x per pay period.

Requirements

• US Citizenship or National (Residents of American Samoa and Swains Island)
• Meet all eligibility criteria within 30 days of the closing date
• Meet time-in-grade within 30 days of the closing date, if applicable
• Register with the Selective Service if you are a male born after 12/31/1959

Specialized experience is experience that demonstrates working knowledge of real estate principles, policies, and methodologies in real estate acquisition as it relates to lease acquisition programs and contract management techniques.
