THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED INDEFINITE SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST TITLE 32 INDEFINITE, Position Description Number D1414P01 and is part of the 157th Logistics Readiness Squadron, New Hampshire Air National Guard. This vacancy is to gather applications that may or may not result in a referral or selection.

Duties

Serves as the Logistics Officer with responsibility for overall program management, direction, and control of wing logistics planning that includes multiple units and may include geographically separated units where no logistics management personnel are assigned. The primary purpose of this position is to manage, direct, develop and implement policy programs and procedures for the accurate management of Wing Logistics planning. Serves as the Logistics Officer/Specialist and provides administrative and technical oversight to a lower-graded specialist. This position is responsible for fully prepared, assigned unit personnel and equipment for Aerospace Expeditionary Force/Wing (AEF/AEW) Operations around the world.

Qualifications

Military Grades: 02 to 04 Compatible Military Assignments: 021R3 GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Experience, education or training involving judgment and/or analytical ability in the logistics field. Experience using computer and automation systems. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must have one-year specialized experience, education or training equivalent to at least next lower grade level (GS-11). Must have experience, education, or training which includes identifying activities involving logistical support operations. Experience integrating the actions of a variety of specialized support activities in order to develop a comprehensive logistics plan. Experience monitoring such functions as program planning, resource and fiscal management, training, manpower management, and/or automated data processing to meet the logistics plan. Experience identifying delays or problems and developing corrective actions. Must possess or be able to obtain a Secret clearance within one year of appointment.
