About the Position: This position is located at Air Force Academy, Colorado.

Duties

Interpret and apply the appropriate accession standards required for entrance into the five US service academies, Reserve Officer Training programs and other officer accessions under the purview of DoD Medical Examination Review Board. Participate in strategic planning processes to improve direction and focus. Direct the daily work, plans, and activities of the reviewer staff. Request, review and interpret medical examinations, tests, and evaluations the purpose of determining qualification, disqualification and/or medical waiver requirements. Request additional information, when necessary to obtain a complete picture of the applicant's suitability as it pertains to DoD medical standards.

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain Secret security clearance.
