Serves as a Logistics Management Specialist performing routine and multiple varying logistics assignments under the general direction of the manager or more experienced professional/leader.

Duties

Acts as an individual contributor and/or member of a team for projects/programs within a defined area of responsibility and begins serving in leadership roles. Provides training to lower-level professionals on logistics processes/procedures.

Requirements

• US Citizenship is required.
• Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
• Must submit an SF50 (See Required Documents)

Qualifications

To qualify for this position at the FV-G, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower level/grade of FV-F, FG/GS-5-9. (Refer to OPM's Operating Manual Qualification Standards at http://www.opm.gov/qualifications/SEC-IV/A/gs-admin.asp, for more information) in the Federal Service.Specialized experience includes experience processing personal property transactions, purchasing materials, supplies, services, and equipment participating in property inventories and analyzing financial reports.Qualification requirements must be met by the closing date of this vacancy announcement.Please ensure you answer all questions and follow all instructions carefully. EDUCATION SUBSTITUTION:

Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree

or

3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
