About the position: This position will be assigned to the 30 FSS/Community Services Flight Outdoor Recreation.

Duties

This position is assigned to the Outdoor Recreation activity. Under direct supervision of the Outdoor Recreation Manager. Collects cash receipts, cash register tapes, checks, credit card receipts, coupons, gift cards and other supporting documentation to prepare and complete cashier report (1875) and daily deposits (1876) for Outdoor Recreation complex including, Auto Hobby, Arts & Crafts, and Rod & Gun. Uses word processing software to produce a variety of documents. Completes and transports all facility deposits daily to the central cashier within the allotted drop off times. Enters each activities deposits into Services Agency Information System (SAIS) under the Non-Appropriated Fund Data Interface System (NAFDIS). Performs a variety of general office duties such as receiving telephone calls and visitors, routing and filing correspondence, submitting requests, and maintaining files within each activity. Administers internal priorities and suspenses and develops procedures to meet general administrative requirements. Assists assigned personnel in all areas during monthly inventories by counting stock on hand or verifying counts, verifying pricing is accurate and current and posts purchase invoices and count results in the Non-appropriated Fund Resale Inventory System (NAFRIS). Uses office/word processing software and printing equipment to produce a variety of standardized documents and maintain electronic data files. Administers internal priorities and suspenses and develops procedures to meet general administrative requirements. Requisitions the purchase of office supplies, equipment, and services in support of Outdoor Recreation operations. Serves as timekeeper for all Outdoor Recreation personnel; confirms and enters time in the Services Employee Timekeeping System (SETS) program. Develops Purchase Requests into Internet Based Purchasing System (IBPS) and maintains comprehensive records of purchases in accordance with established government/NAF purchase card holder responsibilities. Performs other related duties and assists Outdoor Recreation manager as requested. Qualifying Experience: Have experience with AF accounting processes and systems including use of Services Agency Information System (SAIS) Non-Appropriated Fund Data Interface System (NAFDIS) and Non-appropriated Fund Resale Inventory System (NAFRIS). Must have knowledge of basic computer software such as Microsoft Word, Windows, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, etc. Must have experience in responsible clerical or office work in which the applicant has demonstrated the ability to perform satisfactorily at the grade level of the position. Applicant is required to demonstrate possession of a high degree of proficiency in typing and knowledge of word processing techniques. General experience in timekeeping and staff scheduling practices. This is a position of trust. Must be able to satisfactorily complete a Tier-1 background investigation You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:

Education
