This position is part of the TX SAO, and is located in Gatesville, Texas. The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) Quality Assurance Specialist and is responsible for providing continuous maintenance and logistical information to the Tactical Unmanned Aircraft System Operating Facility (TUASOF) commander and staff on aviation and aviation-related systems matters. The QA is the most proficient maintenance technician.

Qualifications

To be considered for qualification, your resume must include relevant experience with beginning and ending dates of employment/experience reflecting the following: Specialized Experience Required To qualify at the GS-11 grade level, your resume must include relevant experience with beginning and ending dates of employment/experience reflecting at least 36 months experience, education, or training involving a thorough knowledge of product or range of products involved, the manufacturing methods and techniques, special processes, test and performance requirements; and skill in developing plans and programs. Experience possessed by an expert in the area of specialization able to give technical direction to otherwise competent workers. Experience determining operations when difficult and questionable phases of malfunctions are found. Experience which required significant and concrete work accomplishments (i.e. special projects, working groups, or detailing assignments) involving interpersonal contacts in a quality assurance or related field. Experience in dealing with management principles and supervisory responsibility for the function required by type of position to be filled and the organization involved.
