About the Position: This position is in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Employees occupying DCIPS positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the ST-IC-W1E8AA USA INTELLIGENCE CTR OF EXCELLENCE. Serve as a senior instructor in the complex 35N EW/SIGINT Analysis Course.
Duties
Educate personnel on the proper method to develop lesson plans.
Manage the training development of course content, including the completion of required resource documentation.
Lead working groups, meetings, or conferences to address training and education issues.
Influence senior personnel to implement recommended corrective actions.
Evaluate instructors on teaching techniques and subject matter mastery.
Exercise skill in professional interactions to facilitate collaboration between multiple organizations or agencies.
Review internal or external assessment and accreditation reports for training course.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret (TS) security clearance based on a T5 investigation/Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) with eligibility for sensitive compartmented information (SCI).
- In accordance with Change 3 to AR 600-85, Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Program, individual must successfully pass a urinalysis screening for illegal drug use prior to appointment and periodically thereafter.
- Must be willing to undergo and successfully complete a counterintelligence-scope polygraph examination with No Deception Indicated (NDI) on a pre-appointment and periodic basis.
- Two year trial/probationary period may be required.
- May be required to work irregular hours.

Specialized experience is defined as: (1) applying methods, techniques, and procedures of Analysis and Reporting in support of EW/Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) specialty areas to conduct training; (2) conducting job and task analysis to determine critical areas to be incorporated in training curriculum, and (3) reviewing and analyzing training and course curriculum to determine if adjustments are needed based on new operational area implementation or lessons learned. This definition of quality level of experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level in the Federal service (GG/GS-11).
