Duties

You will serve as the primary point of contact for receipt of incoming facilities maintenance work through telephone calls, e-mail and Customer self-service request (via a Computer-Based Management System) calls. You will evaluate each service request immediately for the purpose of establishing the appropriate priority. You will monitor progress of work using a job order database to inform customers and management of their project status. You will perform administrative close-out of trouble tickets upon completion of work or other determination. You will serve as the primary point of contact for calls relating to Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) such as too hot or too cold calls.

Requirements

  • Must be able to work any shift based on a rotating shift schedule.
  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
  • Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final Secret security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job off er or removal.
  • This position is considered Emergency Essential and may be required to relocate to another location in the event of any type of disaster (natural or manmade), to another location to continue operations.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States drivers license.

Qualifications

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1. Organizing both hard-copy and electronic files to allow for quick retrieval of information as needed; 2. Using software applications (such as corporate software databases, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook) to evaluate and analyze statistical and narrative data and keep track of large amounts of detail; 3. Applying customer service techniques to help military and civilian personnel at all levels.
