Duties
Serves as Telework/Remote Work Program Manager for NIST. Leads in creating a vision of telework and remote work as a strategic management tool that supports and aligns with the agency's goals and mission. Provides authoritative technical advice to OHRM Director and senior leadership on strategic implementation of telework/remote work programs. Develops and implements NIST-wide policies and procedures. Collects data related to reporting requirements. Develops goals and metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of the telework/remote work programs. Delivers presentations and briefings to help managers and employees understand policies, procedures, and potential benefits. Trains and mentors others.

Qualifications
Applicants must have at least one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-13 level (ZA-III at NIST). Specialized experience is defined as experience researching, analyzing, and applying knowledge of telework/remote work laws, regulations, and rules; providing advice to employees and supervisors on telework/remote work matters; and collecting and reporting telework/remote work data.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done. We will credit all qualifying volunteer experience in your application.
