Duties

Independently resolves issues/problems requiring consideration of the total military personnel management system. Apply a comprehensive knowledge of Senior Reserve Officers Training Corps (SROTC) program to provide guidance to the command staff regarding the management of Cadets. Principal point of contact for subordinate SROTC battalions, oversees the Brigade Enrollment and Eligibility / Retention program. Assist managers on highly complex ROTC cadet problems. Responsible for the final review and processing of all Cadet actions.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance throughout the duration of employment.
  • Temporary Duty (TDY), approximately 15% of the time.
  • Appointment to this position is subject to a one year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315.

Education
